Commercial warranty

The commercial warranty provides you with free technical assistance and product support, offered either by EpicKeys or directly by the manufacturer, based on the warranty certificate issued for the product.
This warranty is your assurance that, in the unlikely event of a malfunction or technical issue covered by the terms of the certificate, you will receive prompt assistance and support to restore full functionality.
Legal conformity guarantee

In addition to the commercial warranty, all products sold by EpicKeys come with a legal conformity guarantee, as stipulated by national and European legislation. Under this guarantee:
- The seller (EpicKeys) ensures that the product complies with all specifications, features, and conditions promised at the time of sale.
- The conformity guarantee is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase for eligible products.
- During this period, consumers are entitled to corrective measures, free of charge, in case the product does not meet the agreed specifications.
In accordance with Government Ordinance OG 21/1992, we are required to provide consumers with:
- A warranty certificate, where applicable (mandatory for durable products)
- Clear user, installation, and maintenance instructions, to ensure proper handling of the product

To access warranty services, you must present proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or equivalent document). If a warranty certificate has been issued for the product, having the original document available is recommended to expedite processing.
Your rights in case of non conformity

If the product you purchased is found to be non compliant during the warranty period, you are entitled to the following remedies, at no cost:
✔ Repair of the product
✔ Replacement with an identical or equivalent product
✔ An appropriate price reduction, if repair or replacement is not possible
✔ Termination of the purchase contract for the affected product, in cases of significant non conformity
WARRANTY FOR PRODUCTS SOLD

For all products sold and delivered by EpicKeys, you benefit from warranty coverage in accordance with current legislation and the commercial policies of the respective manufacturers.
To avoid any activation issues with your purchased product, we strongly recommend activating your license immediately after purchase, ideally within 5 days of receiving it.
The majority of the products we offer are digital licenses, officially known as ESD (electronic software distribution) keys. These activation keys, issued by Microsoft and other manufacturers, are vulnerable to misuse due to the high number of bots and automated systems attempting to farm or duplicate them across the internet. As a result, these keys become volatile if not activated promptly.
Manufacturers reserve the right to block or deactivate unredeemed activation keys within a maximum period of 30 days from their issuance, as a security measure to prevent misuse (such as cracking, hacking, cloning, etc.). Therefore, to guarantee full functionality, we recommend activating your license as soon as you receive it.
All licenses provided by EpicKeys are unique, genuine, and verifiable. Once activated, they remain valid indefinitely, unless otherwise specified for subscription based products (e.g., Microsoft 365, antivirus subscriptions, etc.).
EMPENDO DISTRIBUTION SRL, along with the manufacturers or their authorized partners, reserves the right to refuse warranty claims if the defects or issues are proven to have been caused by improper use, negligence, or actions attributable to the end customer.

You are entitled to warranty assistance in the following situations:
✔ You receive the wrong license by email.
✔ You receive an incomplete license key by email.
✔ You receive a license by email that was mistakenly intended for another customer.
✔ You receive a license that does not work properly for technical reasons unrelated to misuse.
✔ Within 24 months from purchase, the license experiences functionality issues or technical changes not caused by user actions.
